Ingredients
  • 4 large Onions
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheese
  • 1 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the onions.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  4. Add the sliced onions and cook until they become soft and golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir well.
  6. Gradually add milk while stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Transfer the onion mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  9. Sprinkle cheese and bread crumbs over the top.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown.
