  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the dissolved yeast mixture, granulated sugar, salt, egg, and 2 cups of all-purpose flour. Mix well.
  3. Add the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until the dough is soft and not sticky. Knead the dough for 5 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  7. Spread melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and ground cinnamon evenly.
  8. Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the long side. Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal pieces.
  9. Place the cinnamon rolls in the greased baking dish, cover with a towel, and let them rise for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and drizzle caramel sauce over the warm cinnamon rolls.
