Ingredients
  • 500 gram Mushrooms
  • 50 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 30 gram Flour
  • 500 ml Milk
  • 150 gram Gruyere Cheese
  • 50 gram Breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Clean and slice the mushrooms.
  3. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  4. Add mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir well.
  6. Gradually add milk while stirring continuously. Cook until the mixture thickens.
  7. Stir in grated Gruyere cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  10. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
