Mummy Cookies
Mummy Cookies are a fun and spooky treat to make for Halloween parties or as a festive snack. The cookie dough is shaped into mummy shapes and decorated with a simple glaze and candy eyeballs to resemble mummies. Kids and adults alike will enjoy these cute and delicious cookies!

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

Divide the dough in half and shape each half into a disk. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out one disk of dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) thickness. Cut out mummy shapes using a cookie cutter or a knife.

Transfer the cookies to the prepared baking sheet and repeat with the remaining dough.
