Mock Tuna-Noodle Casserole

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the mushrooms and peas to the skillet, and cook for another 5 minutes.

Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in the mock tuna, cooked noodles, salt, and pepper.

Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and bread crumbs on top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
