  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the orange zest, orange juice, milk, and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  8. Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
