  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the almond flour and all-purpose flour, mixing until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  8. In a small bowl, mix together the rum and powdered sugar to make a glaze.
  9. Remove the cake from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack.
  10. Drizzle the glaze over the cake and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
  11. Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
