  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Crush the digestive biscuits into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.
  3. Press the biscuit mixture into the base of a springform pan to form the crust.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  6. Grate the marzipan and fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
  7. Melt the dark chocolate and mix it with the espresso.
  8. Pour the chocolate-espresso mixture into the cream cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
  9. Pour the filling over the biscuit crust in the springform pan.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until the center is set.
  11. Allow the cheesecake to cool in the oven with the door slightly open.
  12. Once cooled, refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  13. Serve chilled with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa powder.
