Marmalade Cupcakes
Marmalade is a preserve made from citrus fruits, such as oranges, and is commonly used as a spread or filling in various desserts.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Spoon the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.

Drop a teaspoon of orange marmalade onto the center of each cupcake.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove the cupcakes from the oven and let them cool in the tin for 5 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the cupcakes with powdered sugar.
