  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking powder. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture, yogurt, milk, and vegetable oil.
  3. Mix the ingredients together until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rest in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the grill or oven to high heat.
  6. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a tear-shaped naan.
  7. Place the naan on the grill or baking sheet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until puffed and lightly charred.
  8. Remove from heat and brush with melted butter or ghee.
