  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Add melted butter, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in the chopped walnuts.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
  11. Cut into bars and serve.
