Lemon Dream Bars
Lemon bars are believed to have originated in the United States and became popular during the 1960s and 1970s.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 120 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 8.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x9-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the flour and salt to the bowl and mix until crumbly.

Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a crust.

Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

Pour the lemon mixture over the baked crust.

Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the filling is set.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely.

Once cooled, dust the top with powdered sugar.

Cut into bars and serve.
