Ingredients
  • 0.5 kg Potatoes
  • 200 g All-purpose flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1/4 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. Boil the potatoes until tender, then peel and mash them.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, flour, egg, and salt. Mix well until a dough forms.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a ball.
  4. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potato dumplings and cook for about 10 minutes or until they float to the surface.
  5. Remove the dumplings from the water and drain.
  6. In a separate pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the breadcrumbs and cook until golden brown.
  7. Serve the potato dumplings with the buttered breadcrumbs and garnish with fresh parsley.
