  5. While the cake is baking, prepare the jello mix according to the package instructions using the boiling water and cold water.

  7. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.
  8. Pour the prepared jello mixture over the cake, making sure to fill the holes.
  9. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours or until the jello is set.
