  3. Pour the caramel into four ramekins, swirling to coat the bottoms evenly.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together espresso, Irish cream liqueur, vanilla extract, eggs, milk, whipping cream, and salt.
  5. Pour the mixture into the ramekins with the caramel.
  6. Place the ramekins in a baking dish. Fill the dish with hot water halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the custard is set.
  8. Remove the ramekins from the water bath and let them cool to room temperature.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  10. To serve, run a knife around the edges of the ramekins and invert onto serving plates.
