Hummingbird Bars
Hummingbird Bars are believed to have originated in Jamaica and are named after the island’s national bird, the hummingbird.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

Add the mashed bananas, crushed pineapple, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.

Fold in the chopped pecans.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Allow the bars to cool completely in the baking dish.

Spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the cooled bars.

Cut into squares and serve.
