In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the heavy cream, honey, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth.

Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Continue boiling for 10-15 minutes or until the mixture reaches 248°F (120°C) on a candy thermometer.

Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for 5 minutes.

Pour the caramel mixture into a greased baking dish and let it cool for 2 hours.

Once cooled, cut the caramel into small squares and wrap them in wax paper.
