Herb and Garlic Cheese Twists

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface.

In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, fresh herbs, and grated cheese.

Spread the cheese mixture evenly over one of the puff pastry sheets.

Place the second puff pastry sheet on top.

Cut the layered pastry into long strips, about 2cm (8in) wide.

Twist each strip gently and transfer to the prepared baking sheet.

Brush the twists with beaten egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
