Habanero peppers are one of the hottest chili peppers in the world, adding a fiery kick to this bread.

In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, chopped habanero pepper, chopped rosemary, and grated cheddar cheese.

Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the yeast mixture. Stir until a sticky dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it on a greased baking sheet.

Brush the top of the loaf with olive oil and sprinkle some rosemary leaves on top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.

Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
