In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, ground almonds, sugar, yeast, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing well.

Stir in raisins.

Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Gugelhopf pan.

Transfer the dough to the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

Carefully remove the cake from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
