  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a pie dish.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the fresh berries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. Pour the berry mixture into the pie crust.
  5. Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut into strips. Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg yolk and water. Brush the egg wash over the lattice crust.
  7. Bake the pie for 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 1 hour.
  9. Sprinkle powdered sugar over the top before serving. Enjoy!
