In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and marshmallows in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds.

Stir in the peanut butter until well combined.

Add the rice crispy cereal and mix until evenly coated.

Press the mixture into a greased 9x9-inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well.

Sprinkle the powdered sugar mixture over the crispy squares.

Let the squares rest for 30 minutes to set.
