Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 0.5 cup Butter, melted
  • For coating:
  • 0.5 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
  7. While the muffins are baking, melt the butter for coating in a small bowl.
  8. In a separate small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon for coating.
  9. Remove the muffins from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  10. Dip each muffin in the melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!
