Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 100 gram Powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 250 gram All-purpose flour
  • 12 tablespoon Jam (your choice of flavor)
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  3. Gradually add all-purpose flour and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Divide the dough into 12 equal portions and shape each portion into a log.
  5. Make a small indentation in the center of each log and fill it with a tablespoon of jam.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  7. Place the filled logs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes.
  10. Transfer to a wire rack and let them cool completely.
  11. Enjoy the filled shortbread logs with a cup of tea or coffee!
