  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the self-raising flour.
  4. Stir in the lime zest, lime juice, and milk until well combined.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the paper cases and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool completely.
  7. To make the frosting, beat the butter until creamy, then gradually add the icing sugar, lime zest, and lime juice. Continue beating until light and fluffy.
  8. Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, frost them with the lime frosting.
