  1. In a bowl, mix together edamame, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  2. Place a spoonful of the edamame mixture onto each wonton wrapper.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold it in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.
  4. In a steamer, steam the wontons for 5 minutes.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the steamed wontons until golden brown.
  6. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry.
  7. In a separate pan, heat soy sauce and water. Add the cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened.
  8. Serve the fried wontons with the soy sauce mixture as a dipping sauce.
