Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, matcha powder, yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Gradually add warm water to the dry ingredients while stirring. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rest for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 6 equal portions. Shape each portion into a bagel shape by rolling it into a ball and poking a hole in the center with your thumb. Stretch the hole to make it larger.
  7. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Boil the bagels for 1-2 minutes on each side, then transfer them to the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush the bagels with beaten egg and sprinkle white chocolate chips on top.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Allow the bagels to cool before serving. Enjoy!
