  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Cook until the mixture is smooth and caramelized.
  3. Pour the caramel sauce into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the pecans evenly over the caramel.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle. Spread the melted butter over the dough and sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly.
  6. Starting from the long side, roll up the dough tightly. Cut the rolled dough into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place the dough pieces on top of the caramel sauce and pecans in the baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until the buns are golden brown and cooked through.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  10. Invert the baking dish onto a serving plate, allowing the caramel sauce to drizzle over the sticky buns. Serve warm.
