  2. Microwave on high for 1 minute and stir.
  3. Continue to microwave and stir at 30-second intervals until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Stir in vanilla extract and almond extract.
  5. Pour half of the mixture into a parchment-lined baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle half of the chopped almonds over the first layer.
  7. Pour the remaining fudge mixture over the almond layer and spread it evenly.
  8. Sprinkle the remaining chopped almonds on top.
  9. Let it cool at room temperature for 2 hours.
  10. Place in the refrigerator for an additional 2 hours until fully set.
  11. Cut into squares and serve.
