  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Crush the chocolate cookies and mix with melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and cocoa powder.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust in the pan.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set. Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove the sides of the pan and let it cool completely.
  6. Melt the dark chocolate and whipping cream together in a heatproof bowl. Let it cool slightly.
  7. Pour the chocolate ganache over the cheesecake.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Serve chilled and enjoy!
