Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cake springs back when lightly touched.

While the cake is still warm, carefully roll it up with the parchment paper. Let it cool completely.

Unroll the cake and spread whipped cream over the surface. Add fresh berries.

Roll the cake back up, removing the parchment paper as you go.

Garnish with chocolate shavings and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
