Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.

Stir in the rolled oats until evenly distributed.

Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes.

Remove from the oven and pour the caramel sauce evenly over the baked crust.

Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped pecans over the caramel layer.

Crumble the remaining oat mixture over the top.

Return to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool in the baking dish for 1 hour.
