Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9x9-inch (22x22 cm) baking dish.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and semi-sweet chocolate together, stirring until smooth.

In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until well combined.

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the sugar mixture and stir until fully combined.

In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and stir until just combined.

In a small bowl, microwave the peanut butter for about 30 seconds until it becomes easy to stir. Add the powdered sugar and stir until smooth.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish. Drop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture onto the batter and use a knife to swirl it gently.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the dish for 30 minutes before slicing and serving.
