  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just blended.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese and cranberry sauce until well combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter. Top with the remaining batter.
  7. Sprinkle fresh cranberries and chopped walnuts over the top.
  8. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.
