Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet and flatten slightly.

Meanwhile, slice the strawberries and set aside.

Once the shortcakes are cooled, slice them in half horizontally.

Place the bottom half of each shortcake on a plate.

Top with sliced strawberries and whipped cream.
