In a large bowl, combine corn kernels, flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together egg and milk. Pour the mixture into the corn mixture and stir until well combined.

Add red bell pepper, green onion, and jalapeno pepper to the batter. Mix well.

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the pan and flatten slightly with the back of the spoon.

Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and cilantro to make the oriental relish.

Serve the corn fritters hot with the hot & spicy oriental relish on the side.
