Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the shredded Colby-Jack cheese.

In a separate bowl, mix together the beer and honey. Pour the beer mixture into the flour mixture and stir until just combined.

Pour the melted butter into the prepared loaf pan. Spoon the batter on top of the butter.

Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
