Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Divide the batter in half. To one half, add the cocoa powder and mix well.

To the other half, add the almond extract and sliced almonds. Mix well.

Spoon alternate dollops of the pumpkin and cocoa batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Use a knife to swirl the batters together, creating a marbled effect.

Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
