Cinnamon Roll Scones
Scones are a popular British baked good, but the addition of cinnamon in this recipe gives it a unique twist.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 35 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 10.

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Cut the cold butter into small cubes and add it to the dry ingredients. Use a pastry cutter or your fingers to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, mix together the milk and vanilla extract. Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently a few times until it comes together. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick circle.

Cut the dough into 8 wedges and transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the scones are golden brown.

In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the warm scones.
