Cinnamon Buns
Cinnamon buns are believed to have originated in Sweden and are traditionally enjoyed on October 4th, known as Cinnamon Bun Day.
This is vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 105 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 12.

In a saucepan, heat the milk and butter until the butter melts. Remove from heat and let it cool.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Pour in the milk mixture and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Roll out the dough into a rectangle.

In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and brown sugar. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the dough. Sprinkle raisins on top if desired.

Starting from one long side, tightly roll up the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces.

Place the cinnamon buns in a greased baking dish, leaving space between each bun. Cover with a damp cloth and let them rise for 30 minutes.

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and water to make the glaze. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon buns.
