  2. Slice the zucchini, onion, and garlic.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.

  5. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  6. Grease a casserole dish and layer half of the zucchini mixture on the bottom.
  7. Pour half of the egg mixture over the zucchini.
  8. Sprinkle half of the bread crumbs and grated cheese on top.
  9. Repeat the layers with the remaining zucchini, egg mixture, bread crumbs, and cheese.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the casserole is golden and set.
  11. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
