In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.

Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half of the melted chocolate over the batter. Use a knife to gently swirl the chocolate into the batter.

Repeat with the remaining pumpkin batter and melted chocolate.
