Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).

In a medium bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Pour remaining cream cheese mixture on top.

Use a knife to gently swirl the chocolate into the cream cheese mixture.

Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.

Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for 1 hour.

Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Serve chilled.
