Chocolate Shortbread Cookies
Shortbread cookies originated in Scotland and are traditionally made with only three ingredients: butter, sugar, and flour. The addition of chocolate in this recipe adds a delicious twist to the classic shortbread cookie.

Fold in the dark chocolate chips.

Shape the dough into a log, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Slice the chilled dough into 1/4-inch thick rounds and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
