Raspberries are known as ‘nature’s candy’ due to their sweet taste and vibrant color.

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fill each muffin cup halfway with the batter. Add a spoonful of raspberry jam in the center of each cup. Top with more batter to cover the jam.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of each muffin.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the muffins cool in the tin for 10 minutes. Then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
