  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add granulated sugar, cocoa powder, instant coffee powder, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Stir in the dark chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. While the brownies are baking, prepare the mocha frosting. In a mixing bowl, beat together heavy cream, powdered sugar, and instant coffee powder until stiff peaks form.
  9. Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the baking dish for 30 minutes.
  10. Once cooled, spread the mocha frosting evenly over the brownies.
  11. Cut into squares and serve.
