  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Crush one packet of OREO cookies and mix with melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate into the batter and mix well.
  7. Pour the batter over the OREO crust in the springform pan.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove the sides of the pan and let it cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, spread whipped cream over the top of the cake.
  11. Crush the remaining packet of OREO cookies and sprinkle the cookie crumbs and chocolate shavings over the whipped cream.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
  13. Slice and serve chilled.
