  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the chocolate chunks, ground cinnamon, brown sugar, and chopped pecans.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared cake pan. Sprinkle half of the chocolate chunk mixture over the batter. Pour the remaining batter over the chocolate chunk mixture and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chunk mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
