Chocolate Chip Orange Zucchini Bread
Zucchini bread became popular in the United States during the 1960s when there was an abundance of zucchinis in home gardens. It is a delicious way to use up excess zucchini and enjoy a sweet treat at the same time.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a separate bowl, combine the orange zest and sugar. Mix well to release the orange flavor.

Add the vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the orange sugar mixture. Whisk until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the grated zucchini and chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
