Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter. Add the granulated sugar and cocoa powder, and mix well.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually add the egg mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until well combined.

In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Remove from the oven and let the brownies cool in the dish for about 1 hour.
